Candice Lesser, 20 years old from North London. Candice is in her 2nd year of the BSc Cosmetic Science degree.

Why did you want to study at LCF?

I was going to go and do medicine but I saw this and I thought it looked really innovative. LCF has such a good reputation. I'm really glad I came here.

What are your hopes for the future?

I've just got a year's internship with Estee Lauder, which I'm really looking forward to. Eventually I would like to work in the PR/Marketing areas of the Beauty industry.

Has studying at LCF helped you overcome any particular challenges?

Yes, both professionally and personally. I have been encouraged to develop and set my career goals and plan for achieving these. Personally, the different people I've met have brought me out of my shell. I'm a lot more confident now.
