Cosmetics and fragrances touch most people’s lives, adding to their well-being and quality of life. There is an increasing interest in learning more about the raw materials and science that goes into making them. With today’s hectic and somewhat unhealthy lifestyles, many people are turning to natural or even organic products in many areas of their life. However, it can be a challenge to produce natural cosmetics that are also functional and sensorially pleasing to use.

This series of intensive and practical workshops take students through the basics of how to make natural skincare, haircare and essential oil based fragrances. Students will make some simple products during the courses and will be provided with the knowledge and skill to be able to replicate these at home or in their businesses. The formulations and information that will be provided could be of great interest to those working in beauty therapy, spas or hair salons who would like to be able to provide their clients with a bespoke natural cosmetic treatment.

The two day courses are stand alone and can be taken separately for those only interested in a specific product field. However, the completion of all 3 different modules will give a more rounded understanding of the subject.
