Application Information and Deadlines

There is no application deadline. If you are an International student applying to London College of Fashion, it is advised that you apply early to avoid disappointment.

There are different application requirements for each course, for example a portfolio, study proposal or essay. These can be found in the individual course outlines for details under entry requirements. Please follow the guidelines carefully.

Selection Process

Selection is based initially on academic qualifications and/or previous experience and the student's personal statement. For equivalent International qualifications, see the International Qualifications Guide [PDF - 910kb]. Students who cannot attend a face to face interview in London or with a UAL agent in their own country will be interviewed by telephone.

Students who have applied to courses with a design/visual content will be asked to bring a portfolio of art work with them to interview. Students who have applied to a non portfolio based course may be asked to undertake a short written, mathematics or aptitude test prior to interview. Please check requirements in the individual course descriptions. Students who are not available for a face to face interview are required to submit examples of their art/design or written work with their application in advance of their application. Portfolios, Certificate, Transcripts and IELTS are not able to be returned so please do not send original work / paperwork. Please refer to the guidelines on the application forms.

Applications for full time further education, undergraduate and postgraduate course can be made via one of the following options:

• Direct to London College of Fashion or
• Through the UCAS website (undergraduate only) or
• Through one of our Overseas representative offices
