What is DISC?

Designer-Manufacturer Innovation Support Centre: supporting fashion manufacturers and designers to innovate their business, products and services.

What We Do

DISC gives you and your business access to a team of highly skilled industry experts. Their specialist experience covers the manufacturing industry incorporating factory production, global sourcing, jewellery production and sustainable manufacturing.

With over 60 years experience between the experts, DISC will help you put your ideas and concepts into production and is a unique resource to London’s fashion businesses.

DISC will offer free support in four ways:

• DISC: Online Knowledge Bank – The DISC website (coming soon) will offer on-line toolkits, market intelligence reports, case studies, listings, knowledge matching service to all beneficiaries. 
• DISC: Workshops – DISC will be hosting a series of seminars, demonstrations and workshops promoting innovative ideas, solutions and techniques to both designers and manufacturers. 
• DISC: Tailored Support – The core of the DISC support structure is the unique one-to-one advice and support from the DISC experts. Businesses and experts will be matched according to suitability and need. 
• DISC: Incubator – in partnership with Hackney Council the DISC knowledge incubator will enable collaboration with the DISC team and manufacturers to develop their business models and product innovations. This service will offer a more intensive mentoring system from the tailored support and will be only available to a select few organisations.
