New Students Home/EU/International (joining the University or starting a new course with us)

During August you will receive an email to your university email address inviting you to enrol online, providing you have accepted your offer and have met any conditions of your offer.   Your University email account is available for you to use within 48 hours of us having received your formal acceptance of our offer.  You can access your email at http://owa.arts.ac.uk.  Your user name will be your Student ID: <<Student ID>> and the password will be your date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY format, including the forward slashes).

Once you have successfully enrolled online you will then be invited to complete your enrolment for your course at this college. This will take place during the week commencing 10 September 2012 for MA degrees, Postgraduate Diploma and Graduate Diploma courses and Access courses, the week commencing 17 September 2012 for Foundation Degree and BA Degree courses,  and the week commencing 24 September 2012 for Postgraduate Certificate and Certificate HE International Preparation for Fashion. Please ensure that you are available during that week.

You will receive specific details about the exact time and place that you need to attend once you have completed online enrolment. Once you have successfully completed enrolment, if you are getting a student loan your SLC loan payment will be paid into your account within 4 working days.

Re-enrolling students Home/EU (students progressing onto Years 2,3,4,or 5)

During August you will receive an email inviting you to enrol online to your university email address.  You must check your University email account regularly from this date. You can access your email at http://owa.arts.ac.uk.  Your user name will be your Student ID: <<Student ID>> and password will be your date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY format, including the forward slashes).

Once you have successfully enrolled online and we have verified your fee payment your SLC loan payment will be paid into your account within 4 working days but not before 24 September.  In order to satisfy the University’s attendance policy and SLC attendance confirmation you will be expected to confirm your attendance and sign in during your first week of teaching.  Further details will be available on your Course Blackboard site.  Please check this regularly.  Failure to do so will mean we will report this to the Students Loan Company and you may be expected to re-pay any tuition fee or student loan already given to you.

Re-enrolling students International (students progressing onto Years 2,3,4,or 5)

You can access your email at http://owa.arts.ac.uk.  Your user name will be your Student ID: <<Student ID>> and password will be your date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY format, including the forward slashes).

In order to satisfy the UKBA’s regulations regarding attendance you must present yourself at your college during your first week of term to complete your enrolment. Further details about when and where to go will be available on your Course Blackboard site.  If you do not present yourself at the college at the specified time, you will be suspended from your course and the University will report your suspension to the UKBA.
