John Prince's Street runs parallel to Regent Street and is just off Oxford Street, Europe's busiest shopping street. There are many cafes, bars and restaurants near by where you can stop off for some refreshment.

Other well-known areas close to John Princes Street include Soho, Carnaby Street, Marble Arch, Covent Garden and Hyde Park.

Accessibility

Entry: The main entrance to JPS is accessed via a lift or 36 steps.

Circulation: There are six floors in total, with lifts or stairs for all building users.

Special facilities:
An adapted lavatory is available on the 1st floor.

The RHS space has an Sennheiser Infra-red transmission system. Please contact Media Services before you visit us if you would like to use the system: mediabooking@fashion.arts.ac.uk

The LCF library staff have a number of resources for disabled users. This includes:

  • Disability PC
  • Camera Magnifier
  • Large Screen
  • Hearing Loop

Access restrictions: Please note that the 6th floor cannot be accessed via the lifts. Please contact us in advance if you would like to visit these areas (3D workshop, Prosthetics workshop, some teaching and meeting rooms).

All other areas of JPS can be accessed, however egress is limited. Please contact us in advance of your visit if you would need assistance to leave in an emergency.
